Hippocrates Foundation

Perched on a hill overlooking Kos town, the foundation serves as a dissemination point of the life and works of the “Father of Modern Medicine” the Greek physician Hippocrates. The huge grounds feature a museum and a library with exhibits and writings of Hippocrates era. The library hosts seminars and lectures on the Hippocratic approach to medicine and wellbeing. Don't miss the gardens with the herbs that their medicinal use was catalogued back in the 3rd century BC, and the panoramic views they offer.
